"Taking inspiration from the many facets of the urban landscape, painting serves as a daily discipline and a way of interacting with the world around me. Often I am trying to showcase the livelihood of the many parks and shared spaces around Philadelphia. I do so in the hopes of celebrating the placid leisure that can be found in everyday life in the city when a certain type of patient, appreciative mindset is allowed the time to flourish and observe through the act of painting."
